Taylor Swift has spent the last ten years growing up in the spotlight, penning and singing about her most personal and heartbreaking breakups as well as big, fairy-tale victories. She’s created a profession out of exposing her deepest vulnerability, turning it into art, seeing the public’s reaction, and then creating art in response to that public reaction, and we are here for Top 10 Taylor Swift Songs.
I’m a diehard Swiftie for this and many more reasons. But even I have to confess that the pop queen has made a few blunders throughout her career, mainly when she compromises her trademark genuineness for commercialism. Nonetheless, I believe her entire discography has merit and kindness. In short, even the most egregious errors are valuable contributions.
Taylor Swift’s work has certainly defined pop music in the last decade and here are the
Top 10 Taylor Swift Songs
You Belong with Me
This is without a doubt one of my favorite TaylorSwift songs! Taylor’s music video for You Belong with Me is without a doubt my fave of hers. I remember praying as a kid when Taylor’s Fearless album was released that this song would be released as a single…and I remember crying and celebrating when it first came out on the radio. Everyone can relate to the emotion of unrequited love in this timeless ballad. This song makes you want to jump up and dance while yelling out the words at the top of your lungs, whether you’re 12 or 50.
Love Story
This is without a doubt Taylor Swift’s best song. If you look for the best Taylor Swift songs, you’ll see that the older ones are better and the current ones aren’t as excellent. Taylor Swift’s debut song, Love Story, was the finest. Her more recent tracks aren’t even that good. It was dreadful to hear Bad Blood. Taylor Swift used to be a nice girl, but she became too cocky and changed. This was her oldest song, despite the fact that she will never be the same girl she once was.
I Knew You Were Trouble
I pity you if you have never heard of “I Knew You Were Trouble.” So go ahead and look it up right now on your phone, tablet, Kindle, iPad, or PC. You’ll be pleased with the results. Taylor Swift’s song is fantastic, and I’m delighted she wrote it. It’s one of my all-time favourite tunes. I hope she continues to make amazing films like this. Thanks! TaylorSwift!
Mean
It’s not just about embracing your flaws; it’s also about accepting the positive aspects of yourself as a person. Taylor Swift appeals to people of all ages around the world, and I believe she can genuinely deliver the message through her music. *If you’re a Taylor Swift fan who believes that life is never perfect but always charmed, please like the remark.
New Romantics
Taylor enraptures us with one of her most undervalued songs in her history in an outstanding ode to the 1980s. Taylor celebrates the joys of youth and the things that make life so good in “New Romantics,” which is wrapped in yet another fantastic hook. Perhaps the best things in life are truly free, or at least as cheap as streaming this song.
Tell Me Why
“Tell Me Why,” from Taylor’s album “Fearless,” is maybe his best country tune. The opening violin melody grabs the listener’s attention right away, and it provides the perfect hook that makes Taylor’s music so appealing. Tell me why you like Taylor Swift’s music, and I’ll show you something in this song that you’ll enjoy.
Look What You Made Me Do
I wanted to appreciate Taylor Swift’s “Look What You Made Me Do” because of its ’80s-inspired groove and spoken-word chorus, but I found it to be a little too repetitive. It was the first song from Taylor Swift’s Reputation, my favourite album, and it was also her first single since the enormous, Grammy-winning 1989. It was a disappointment.
Back to December
This is without a doubt one of the most stunning tunes I’ve ever heard. Her voice carries her feelings, and the lyrics are deeply moving. When I’m having troubles with my boyfriend, I listen to this great song because it always reminds me to appreciate what I have now before it’s gone. It makes me sad to think about a future without him, so I forgive and forget about our current troubles and simply love him the best I can.
Wildest Dreams
In same vein, the amazing one-liners from “Blank Space” will never leave me. Who can forget the “Starbucks lovers” misunderstanding, or my own favourite Swiftian pictures, “cherry lips, crystal skies,” and “screaming, crying, perfect storms?”
Delicate
From its devastating Imogen Heap–esque voice effects to the amazing depiction of those rawest and most vulnerable early stages in a relationship, when the slightest misstep feels like it may shatter everything, “Delicate” from Reputation is the perfect pop song through and through.
